From November 1996¹ until the service's discontinuation in 1998, a special two-part version of Sonic 3D Blast was transmitted through Sega Channel.

The title screen shows what part you start on.

Part One	Part Two

At the end of Part One (after the player beats Diamond Dust Zone Act 3), a splash screen containing the password needed for Part Two is shown. The player then needs to place their password to continue playing to Volcano Valley Zone Act 1.

Due to the game being separated into two parts, the Level Select was modified.
