Shockman is the second game in the Kaizou Choujin Schbibinman series, and the only one to get a Western localization on its platform of origin, with every game in the series being localized for modern platforms in 2023 and 2024.
This installment is more Mega Man-esque, with the odd horizontal shmup level for good measure.
If I had a nickel for every time a Mega Man clone had a charge shot predating it being introduced in Mega Man 4, I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice, right?
Sound Test#
After the ending is over, when the words "To be continued" appear on the screen, hold Select and press Up or Down to cycle between songs.

Tasuke and Kyapiko's names are changed to Arnold and Sonya, respectively.
Left+Right+Down Glitch#
For some odd reason, pressing Left, Right and Down on the D-Pad simultaneously (which isn't normally possible on an actual controller) causes the game to crash.
