Sensible Soccer (NES)

This game was never completed and/or given a public release.
As a result of this, keep in mind that the developers might have used or deleted some of the content featured here, had the game actually been released.

This prototype is documented on Hidden Palace.

This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion.
Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?

The NES Sensible Soccer was being worked on alongside the Game Boy one, but ended up being cancelled due to quality concerns.

The port was completely unknown until a final backup of the source code was recovered in 2025, revealing a very playable (albeit lacking in polish) game.

Present at the very end of the ROM.

IMAGINEER

It's not entirely clear why this is here, as the game was set to be published by Sony Imagesoft (who also published the Game Boy version). Imagineer did however publish Kick-Off, another conversion by Enigma Variations, which also has the same string present at the end of its ROM.
