Samurai Shodown (SNES)

A 32-megabit port of the arcade game, with censorship (such as replacing red blood with something orange, and removing dismemberments).

Anti-Piracy#

The game normally does not contain any SRAM, but still checks for it during bootup by writing two different byte values to the address $336000. If the write was successful (likely if a cartridge copier was used), the game jumps to an infinite loop on boot, thus locking up on a black screen.
