Debug Mode#

Start a fight and intentionally lose. Return to the main menu, select resume, then press Left, X, Down, Up, Right, Left, Up, X. If done correctly, "Level Select Enabled", "Debug Pattern Codes Enabled", and "Zap and Excerciser Enabled" will appear at the bottom of screen and the following functions will be enabled:

• Press L or R to select a stage to play.
• During a fight, press L+R to decrease the opponent's health. The opponent cannot be killed this way, however.
• A Debug Display is added to the top of the screen.

This needs some investigation. Discuss ideas and findings on the talk page. Specifically: Figure out the contents of the debug display.
