Development Leftovers#
Unused .LOC files#
There are two unused .LOC files in data\lang, which if slotted in place of the used localization, do the following:

To do:
|
Filename |
Description |
|---|---|
CONSTANT.LOC |
Makes every localized string in the game a string representation of an enumeration. Most likely a debug helper to verify strings are being pulled from the right place rather than being used for any localization purposes |
LETTER.LOC |
Identical to the American English localization, however anything that needs to be localized becomes a spam of "W"'s. |

To do: |
- In the PAL version, Mac has been replaced with a character called Marty. Marty is visually extremely similar to Mac except his clothes have a hood.
- Marty additionally speaks in German which naturally gives him different interactions with the other characters.
- Marty also has a different theme in his character video.
- In the Japanese and Korean versions, Kaori is playable from the start (with Moby now having to be unlocked) and she is the default character on the character select screen instead of Eddie.
- In the Korean version, Kaori is now called "Yuri" and she now speaks in Korean.
- Despite this, there are still instances where Yuri is still referred to as “Kaori” such as on one of her costumes and her character video. Kaori’s original voice is also used for cutscenes where she speaks in English.
- In the Korean version, Yuri’s (Kaori) character theme uses an instrumental version of the song, removing the original Japanese lyrics.
- Snowdream takes place in Korea instead of Japan in the Korean version.
- Tokyo Megaplex is simply called “Megaplex” in the Korean version.
- Despite this, characters still refer to the track as “Tokyo Megaplex”, including Yuri.
- The Sensei rank was renamed to “Coach” in the Korean version. “Sensei” still appears in the character videos.
