As with the arcade version, the logos were changed to accommodate the name change in the international versions. The legal text in the US version adds an additional copyright for Capcom U.S.A.'s involvement. The logo change is also reflected throughout the game's menus.

Japan-Exclusive Extra Modes#
Disc 2, called the Evolution Disc, featured several new minigames in addition to the original arcade game. Some of the minigames were based on some of the student's activities, and one in particular, the Nekketsu Seisyun Nikki mode, was a dating sim. In this mode, the player would be able to create a custom student and go through a typical school year. Over time, the character could develop bonds with any of the game's characters at the various schools, which allowed the player to learn their moves, as well as reveal more about their backgrounds. At the end of the school year, the custom character can be used in any of the other fighting modes except for the original Arcade mode.

The Evolution Disc in the international versions include all of the minigames except for the dating sim minigame. Capcom initially intended to include that mode (rebranding it as "School Life"), but later abandoned it, citing the amount of time needed for translating it.
