Ragnarok DS

Ragnarok DS is Ragnarok Online, but shrunken down to fit on a DS card and without most of its online functionality (wouldn't that make it "Ragnarok Offline", then?).

Anti-Piracy#

Normal

Pirated

The Korean version of this game utilizes the DS Protect anti-piracy library to ensure that it is not being run off a flashcart or emulator. If any of the DS Protect checks fail, the game restarts back to the title screen after loading or saving a game, normally preventing any further progression past creating the protagonist character. In such a case, the title screen will also be bugged as no sprites will render. If bypassed, the game messes with the map camera in the overworld (often causing models to not appear and leaving everything beyond a black background), randomly remove sprites and backgrounds, and randomly crash on screen transitions.

Normal

Pirated

Probably spent what would've been for this cartridge towards upgrading the graves

There is a subtle hint if the game detects the DS Protect checks has failed; if the player manages to make it to the cutscene where Ares is first seen, both of the graves will be changed to one with a wreath on each.
