The Power Blaster Kracker Racer is basically a Famiclone in the shape of an Xbox 360 controller. The multiple name changes were likely due to potential trademark infringements, though the instruction sheet of all releases still says "Power Blaster".
THE GREATEST GAME MACHINE IN THE PLANET!
Unused Text#
Hidden in the menu list is some games which were replaced with the Nice Code games mentioned below, and a duplicate of Ikki:
BOMB JACK
BIRD WEEK
BADMINTON
NINJA I
Alternate Menu#
By unscrewing the screw shown in the picture (where the screwdriver is pointing), you'll access an alternate menu with pink text. To get back to the normal menu, screw the screw back in. (Make sure the console is OFF when screwing/unscrewing the screw)
Unlike the normal menu, you can change pages by pressing Left/Right rather than B/RB. The downside is that there are only three games (JUMPING KID, ISLAND, and ICE OCEAN) and it just repeats.
This was likely done to hide the console's copyright-infringing nature from authorities - the three games featured on the alternate menu are Chinese originals developed by Nice Code, and therefore with the screw missing it could pass as a legitimate (if crappy) plug-and-play system.
Unused Games and Programs#
Two unrelated multicart menus are hidden in the ROM, and are completely unused. There's data for a 12 in 1 menu starting at 38000, and a second set of data for a 64 in 1 starting at 1CC000. Graphics for the latter menu don't appear to be present in the ROM, so the image used on this page is a mock up using the graphics from Tetris (Tengen). If similar multicarts are any indication, the garbled graphics on the top would be custom graphics for the multicart name.
