Popeye (Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4)

Popeye is a re-imagining of the classic arcade game in 3D for modern platforms, through the rather unorthodox use of flipped Unity Store assets and stolen fan models of Popeye and the gang, developed by the same team behind the paid Calculator app for the Switch. That's certainly a sentence that seems to get worse and worse.

Also, it's pretty bad. Blow me down.

The game has been delisted and is unavailable as of June 30, 2023.

Unused Models#

To do:

  • There's more, get screenshots of the rest.
  • Considering what game we're talking about, these are most likely Unity Store assets. Try and find their original store pages if possible.
  • The pirate models listed here have their sources provided on the "Asset Links" subpage, so maybe they should be moved there?
