This is a sub-page of Pokémon Masters EX/Audio.
Some voicelines have been changed from update to update. This can be from voice actors (Seiyu/CV in Japan) retiring or other reasons.
Agatha#
Agatha's 10th voice line (used for scouting a Sync Pair's same model alt, such as BP or Lodge) was changed from a unique voice clip to an exact copy of her existing scouted voice line. It's unknown which update it was changed in, but the old voiceline is present in a video uploaded June 2021 by Absol-utely.

Lear#
Lear initially appears as a boss enemy in the Main Story and is playable for a single stage there. To commemorate the conclusion of the Main Story, Lear was released in version 2.11.0 as a scoutable Sync Pair. The boss version of Lear uses different voice lines than the scoutable version of him and has fewer lines overall (53 versus 75 like other Sync pairs). The boss Lear voicelines can still be heard in the Main Story and older event cutscenes.

Rachel#
Much like Lear, Rachel first appears in the Main Story as a boss enemy and is playable for a single stage there; however, she also appears in the fifth stage of the Battle Villa using a Lapras. In version 2.11.0, Rachel was released as a scoutable Sync Pair with Umbreon, the same Pokemon she uses in the Main Story. Like Lear, the boss version of Rachel uses different voice lines than the scoutable version and has fewer lines overall (53 versus 75 like other Sync pairs). The boss Rachel voicelines can still be heard in the Main Story and Battle Villa.

Sawyer#
Sawyer first appears in the Main Story as a boss enemy and is playable for a single stage there; however, he also appears in the thirtieth stage of the Battle Villa using a Bewear. In version 2.11.0, Sawyer was released as a scoutable Support Sync Pair with Honchkrow, the same Pokemon he uses in the Main Story. Like Lear and Rachel before him, the boss and scoutable versions of Sawyer use different voice lines, and the boss version has fewer lines overall (53 versus 75 like other Sync pairs). The Boss Sawyer voicelines can still be heard in the Main Story and Battle Villa.

Paulo#
Paulo is the player character's rival and is fought as the boss of Chapter 22, where he uses a Rockruff. To commemorate the end of the Villain Arc, Paulo was released as a Sync Pair in version 2.36.0 with Dusk Lycanroc as his partner Pokemon. The boss and playable versions of Paulo have different voicelines, with the boss version's voicelines still being used in the Main Story and all chapters of the Villain Arc save for the last.

Paulo's 36th voice clip was changed at some point (likely when he became a playable Sync Pair around the 4th Anniversary). This is a newer recording as Paulo's old and new voices are very different.

Tina#
Tina (originally known as Camilla in the game's beta) is a character who appears in the Paulo Arc and Villain Arc, along with the Story Event "That Classic Thunderbolt". Unlike the other Pasio-original characters, Tina is the only one who isn't battled by the Player at any point before her Sync Pair release. Tina was released as a scoutable Sync Pair with her partner Pokemon Flareon in version 2.36.0 to commemorate the end of the Villain Arc. The NPC and playable versions of Tina use different voicelines, with the NPC lines still being used in the Paulo Arc, Story Event and all but the final chapter of the Villain Arc. As Tina never appeared in a battle stage before being released as a Sync Pair, the battle voicelines from her NPC version go unused.

Tate#
Tate's first Japanese voice actor, Ami Naga (アミ・ナガ) was replaced with Yuna Ogata (湯な 尾形) in version 2.34.0 in conjunction with Tate (Summer 2023) & Jirachi's release. This change also affects the base Tate & Solrock Sync Pair. While the reason for the change is unknown, it is speculated that Ami Naga retired from the voice acting industry, necessitating finding a new voice actor for Tate's event Sync Pair.

Kabu#
In version 2.55.0, Kabu's 20th voice clip (used for his Sync Move) was changed to be more faithful to what he says when sending out his last Pokemon in Pokémon Sword and Shield. The line itself is delivered very differently.
