Plants vs. Zombies: Endless Edition

This game is defunct. Do note the game no longer works at all without modifications. This is most likely due to the game's servers being shut down. As a result, further official developments with the game are unlikely to happen.

This page sucks. If you could make it suck less, that would be awesome. Specifically: Much of the info listed has no sources whatsoever.

To do: Several unused Hero plants and their associated text strings, whatever the "Red Nose Day" event was. Document the QA Cheats-enabled build of 30.12 released by Byfen.com.

Plants vs. Zombies: Endless Edition is one of many Chinese-exclusive spinoffs to the first game, featuring an entirely unique 35 level campaign based on the Chinese novel "Journey to the West", new variations of Survival: Endless, Hero plants and returning plants from PvZ2 and PvZ2C!

... and also the only song in the whole game is Grasswalk and every piece of audio is compressed to hell and back, you can thank Kun "Leo" Liu for that.

Unused Zombie#

An unknown zombie that was presumably a variant of Pole-Vaulting Zombie for either of the underwater chapters. It only appeared on promotional images and the game's UI, so it's unknown what it would have done.

Unused Text#

Western Zombies#

Like with Plants vs. Zombies: Great Wall Edition, reskins for all of the game's zombies were supposed to be added to coincide with the Journey to the West campaign. For whatever reason, this was scrapped and the game retained the original PvZ1's zombie designs. Names for these did remain in the game's files however.

Many of these zombies were later added to Great Wall Edition, or were used as inspiration for zombies in Plants vs. Zombies: All Stars' Journey to the West world.

Revisional Differences#

Dave's Backyard Garden and Fisherman Zombie#

From version v30.2 and 30.4, Fisherman Zombie and its corresponding area were in place instead of Spider Woman Zombie and War of the Spider Woman. This change, although oddly fitting for how radically different they are, was purely visual.
