Environment Test Caves

This is a sub-page of Pikmin 2/Unused Caves.

Test floors for the different floor environments. The caveinfo_* caves use the same setup with different lighting for all floors, while the dam_* caves test boss floor layouts.

caveinfo_conc (Concrete)#

Unlike most of the other caves, this one is loaded with enemies.

Floor 4	Titan Dweevil	Same layout as Floor 2 with a different boss. This level will crash unless the Titan Dweevil cutscene has already been viewed.

dam_cave_tsuchi#

A fight with the Titan Dweevil in the Empress Bulblax arena.
Like the above floor, this level will crash unless the Titan Dweevil cutscene has already been viewed.

video_caveinfo_metal#

These were used for promotional videos from before the game's release. They can be seen in the E3 2003 trailer at the 00:58 and 00:28 second marks respectively. Watch on YouTube
