SOMETIMES I SEE A TEXT BOX AND I JUST CAN'T HELP MYSSDFGFFDHFGDJGGFSHGDFH
This page sucks. If you could make it suck less, that would be awesome. Specifically: This is not a debugging "menu". The game has an actual debugging menu that was removed from release builds some time after release, all of these screenshots are taken with a HUD mod, if the contents of the screenshots must be kept just dump the list of quotes from the game files.
This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion. Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article? Notes: Bain and co. have a myriad of quotes that'll be uploaded here.
The Debug Menu isn't normally accessible without mods, but when accessed, it lets you see what's going on behind the scenes while you play the game, such as when Animation and model files are loaded, when Cloakers spawn etc. An unintended side effect of this is that Bain, Bile, Locke, and even NPCs, all have unused or early versions of script lines that the characters are either meant to say (but don't), or they do say (but is edited slightly to fit with the character, or misses details intended for script-writers), which all goes unseen as the text is only intended for the developers at Overkill to see. The following quotes are split up by Heist, for the sakes of continuity within screenshots.
Bain doesn't even say this in normal gameplay (though it's likely because of the existence of the "But How?" achievement, relating to the van). Bain does say similar things in Payday: The Heist though, even giving Dallas the honor to assemble the Tackle.Hilariously, the Debug Text mis-spells the word "Remember".There isn't an "Inside Man" in Slaughterhouse in Payday 2, so this goes totally unused. It doesn't make sense anyway, as the C4 is disguised within the dumpster. It was likely that this is a leftover of the level in development, as the drill is absent from this heist, and isn't used to open any of the containers, the same as Meltdown, Shadow Raid and other related heists. It was also very likely that Overkill realised that the enemy SWAT teams could overpower the gang quite easily in a claustrophobic area, like a shipping yard, if left for too long to fend for themselves, which would also explain the drill's absence from the level.
(Bain says "Guys, they're Sending in a Sniper Team!". (sorry for the obscured text!) This was most likely an unintentional mistake, and was just left out, as Snipers do actually spawn when this is printed into debug.
The "Boiling Point heist" debug readout which is said by the pilot right before you start the heist.Bile isn't the pilot that is used to drop off the gang in Russia at the start of "Boiling Point", it is a Russian pilot named Fedor instead. This was likely used for the development of the heist, and Fedor was added in later to replace Bile.It was likely that Jimmy was meant to give advice to the heisters via Codec, much like Hoxton does in Hoxton Breakout. It was changed to Bain giving out instructions to the gang instead, as Jimmy is a playable character in-game, and even contracts the heist himself to the crew on the main menu. This is in contrast to Hoxton Breakout, where Hoxton speaks to the gang via codec (and general shouting) while he's hacking the FBI servers, despite Hoxton being a playable character, making for an odd situation where two Hoxtons (Breakout Hoxton and Hoxton-Reborn) are in the same heist. That particular heist however, is contracted by The Dentist, not by Bain nor Hoxton.
