Naughty Bear seeks revenge on others when he isn't invited to a birthday party by massacring the other bears in the most brutal ways possible, with janky controls to earn "naughty points" — reviewers weren't too enthralled by the opportunity.
Unused Audio#
cs_intro01#
The filename suggests this is audio from a cutscene that was entirely removed from the game. It's incredibly hard to tell what this audio is actually supposed to be however.
l01_crickets#
Some nice ambient sound of just crickets
Dragging Corpses#
fv_dav_dropcorpse1_3 suggest that the ability to drag/drop dead bodies like in Hitman was once considered.
Unused Music#
l01_campsite_rejects#
An incredibly creepy sounding tune supposedly meant for Episode 1.
Mu_torment_action_lvl1
Mu_torment_action_lvl2
Mu_torment_action_lvl3 Some creepy songs that were supposed to play in multiplayer.
Scrapped Shotgun Weapon#
A shotgun was planned to be usable as a weapon at one point, and was showcased in a trailer. Sound files remain, and it seems like the weapon had to be manually reloaded instead of having a set amount of rounds before having to discard the weapon unlike most of the other firearms. A shotgun would appear in Panic in Paradise, but with a different design.

Revisional Differences#
An "enhanced" version of the game released in 2011, called Naughty Bear Gold Edition which comes with all the DLC and contains some other changes;
- All DLC is on the disc, nothing is installed, however this results in slow load times.
- The icons for Episode 8,9 and 10 are now in style of the other Episodes rather than having the Download icon.
- The Downloadable Content option in the main menu is not present.
- The sky on the start screen is yellow instead of blue.
- All DLC costumes are unlocked at the start of the game.
- Players playing the Standard Edition cannot connect to multiplayer matches hosted by someone playing on Gold Edition. Attempting to do so brings up this message even if all DLC is installed
You must have the FREE Episode 8 to join the match
- All DLC achievements on the Xbox 360 version are unobtainable due to Episode 8 being on the disc.
- Each base game costume's head icon uses an early model of Naughty Bear, but the renders are the same as the final model.
Development Leftover#
Naughty Bear's render in Multiplayer uses an earlier model from the early 2010/2009 era of development, which can still be seen on most of the manual pages and level selection icons.
