This article has a talk page!

What makes this game notable or what is it about? Are you a bad enough dude to save this article?

This needs some investigation.

Specifically: There's a scene select menu that can be enabled with debug mode somehow.

Debug Mode#

Having the below code active will enable developer shortcuts. This will be enabled once at the main menu. After you save your game with the code on, you will no longer need the code active to enable debug features.

Original Release codes:

Enable Debug Mode
00319816 00000001

Press L3 for Auto Skip, R3 to Disable

0028B2F8 00000001
D02C5AA0 0000FFFB
0028B2F8 00000000

Controls:

  • Down + Square will toggle debug info.
  • Down + Start will enable a debug menu. This allows you to change background images, change flags, and play sound effects.
  • R1 + Triangle on controller 2 to enable skip mode. You will need the Change Controller 1 to Controller 2 code active for this as the game disables controller 2 inputs.

Alternately, you can download the below save file to automatically enable debug mode.

Unused Image#

Text reads "Patient".

Unused Song#

There is an unused RIFF WAV format song file for the song titled "かくも気高き斜陽". Normally, the game uses raw Little Endian PCM with a custom header attached to it and does a three pass decryption process to play it (click here for more information on this). This WAV version cannot be played as this only uses a two pass method (header, and random byte decryption). Aside from the RIFF WAV header, the stream is identical to the used version.
