Removed Data

This page covers any data that has been removed from the game permanently, but can be leftover in data. The Bilgewater event has many items that are to be here. Reworked content (champions, enemies and maps) also apply.

Champion Assets#

Canceled Champions#

While it does not need to be added to this page, it is worth mentioning.
With the exception of some icons being reused for other things, most of this data is gone.

Caitlyn#

There is a folder labeled Emeria in PBE's patch 0.0.0.1. In it contains Caitlyn's skeleton file and nothing else. This is likely her internal name from development.

Nasus#

Internally, prior to release he had the name Ammon - The God of Death. A remnant of this exists in the particles of the first deployed Live server patch. It uses the same mapping as the first and second skin textures.

Ezreal#

Shown briefly in exactly one patch from the Testrealm. Never seen any time past this.

Lux#

Community feedback (backlash) for this artwork caused Riot to change it permanently. Patches prior to her inclusion only give her changed artwork.

Russian Knight Olaf#

A rather strange instance from Riot where texture assets for a model were made, pushed to the game, removed from the game (as expected with multiple other instances), but also removed from their servers.
It's not known why this was removed outside of the usual skin concept never taking off, but it was removed more than normal. The only remnant of this texture is floating around on some websites, though unfortunately not in its original format.

Others#

In the Characters folder from the PBE patches 0.0.0.X to 0.0.0.16 there exists two extra shop folders. Shop_Male and Shop_Yonkey with an animation list file in each of them. Usage is currently unknown.
In the Characters folder from PBE patch 0.0.0.1 there is a folder named Markyll. Contained in it is an animation list file. Who this champion was is unknown at this time but it is a known champion.
