Historical Assets

This page covers assets from pre-beta and internal builds that are leftover in Closed Beta 1. Most that will be covered are models.

Champions#

Alpha Sion#

This model is the oldest model known of Sion. It has appeared in Riot's "Founding Interns" video. No textures are leftover but its model and post-death model are still present.

Lee Sin#

This needs some investigation. Discuss ideas and findings on the talk page. Specifically: Get confirmation Lee was in fact NOT playable until April 1st 2011.

Under the name BlindMonk in the data. Fully functional Lee Sin from years before his release.

Structures#

A numerous amount of old structures are hidden in the Closed Beta 1 data.
Do note, it is hard to date these files in chronological order, but it can be assumed the less complex structures are older.

Unknown Structure#

In DATA\EDITOR\OBJECTSDEPOT there is a file called HQ.sco. It serves no purpose in-game. It is unknown what its actual function would have been as well.

Shop Structure#

Before the troll, we had a statue. Eerily looks similar to Pantheon.

Chaos Structures#

Chaos Turret Icons#

This needs some investigation. Discuss ideas and findings on the talk page. Specifically: Investigate Baron Nashor's presence as a turret. Evidence in data suggests he was a turret, but this cannot be proven at this time. If this was the case it was changed quickly.

Miscellaneous Models#

For some reason there is a set of fully modeled explosive weaponry with textures. This includes C4, Grenades, a Claymore, an RPG, and more. Not all of the models have textures.

This page or section needs more images. There's a whole lotta words here, but not enough pictures. Please fix this. Specifically: Pictures of each model here, textured first, untextured second.
