''Klonoa: Empire of Dreamswas the first handheld title in the series to be released outside of Japan. It amps upMoonlight Museum'''s puzzle-platforming while adding some autoscrolling stages and boss battles.

Unused Levels#

A hub world for an unused sixth world exists, using a totally different style from the final game's overworlds. The world map for the world shows 8 doors, one for each level. These levels were repurposed into the EX levels in the final game, with levels 4-7 going unused. The eighth level is the final boss.

Unseen Level Tiles#

Every regular, non-boss level has its tile set pasted in full at the top-left corner of the stage. It's likely the developers needed an easy place to see all tiles available on the level in order to copy and paste while drawing the level.

Developer Credits#

At 0x57B80 is a short piece referring to the game by its literal Japanese name, "Klonoa Sleeping Empire".
