A Master System port of Sega's arcade game Heavyweight Champ. Had a few reskins featuring real boxers.
Version Differences#
As noted above, the game was released in three different forms: James "Buster" Douglas Knockout Boxing in North America (as an 8-bit counterpart to the Genesis game), Heavyweight Champ in Europe and Brazil (a straight port of the arcade game and the only version to not feature the likeness of a real boxer), and George Foreman's K.O. Boxing, also in Europe and Brazil. George Foreman in particular is far more polished than the other two.

- Each version of the game changes the player's boxer: Buster Douglas and George Foreman have their respective titular boxers, while Heavyweight Champ has a generic boxer named S. Davis.
- George Foreman once again overhauls the graphics, though in the process loses the pre-match text seen in the other versions.

- George Foreman changes the names and appearances of the opposing boxers, as well as the stats of all but B. Santana/F. Nelson.
- As noted above, George Foreman has one fewer opponent.

In addition to (yet again) redrawing the graphics, George Foreman changes the Sega logo in the ring to an Acclaim logo and relocates the super punch counter to the top of the screen with all of the other information. This also results in more of the ring being visible.
Post-Match#

- George Foreman changes the generic boxer picture to a picture of Foreman holding a hamburger, changes "YOU WON!" to "FOREMAN WINS!" and removes the text noting the number of points earned.
- Winning a match earns 3 points in Buster Douglas and Heavyweight Champ, and 4 points in George Foreman. This was likely changed because George Forman has one fewer fight.

Cheat Mode#
All versions of the game have a cheat mode, activated at the Speed Select screen. For whatever reason, George Foreman changes the button code to activate it and changes around the functions.
