A fun strategy based on the anime, Gregory Horror Show focuses on you trying to escape Gregory's Hotel by collecting souls from hotel guests. The game focuses on stealth to find weak spots in the guests by spying on them. Also, get ready to use herbs to increase your health mental gauge, which is definitely not borrowed from a certain Capcom property.

At one point, the player buys batteries from Gregory's shop to put into a dead remote in order to retrieve TV Fish's soul. Normally, the game only allows you to buy one pair of batteries, but hacking the game to give the player batteries after the remote has been filled results in unique text:
