A message, starting at 0x00FFCA in the CARTROM, shows the version of the game.

This is quite interesting, as there was only ever a Japanese version of the game released. By specifying that it is the Japanese version, and by using the English title instead of Daiku no Gen-san, it implies there were other versions of the game that were never completed or released.

Level Select#

At the title screen, hold R and press Down, Right, Down, Down, Down, Right, Right. Start the game, and when the level name appears, press Up or Down to select a different one.
