Gal*Gun 2

This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion.
Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?

Lessons you might learn from Gal*Gun 2, the second third main entry in the Gal*Gun series:

  • Never open apps that were magically installed on your phone, or else you may recieve a box.
  • Never open that box, or else you may recieve VR goggles and a hair dryer.
  • Never wear those VR goggles, or else the girls mat instantly fall in love with you, now with the power of being able to see angels and demons, also being forced to fight against the latter species.

To do:

  • Prototype page for Gal*Gun VR.
  • Investigate contents in "Sandbox" and "Debug" folders.

Shinobu Kamizono's model from the previous game ported over for testing. It reveal the many subtle changes to the character models in the new game, such as the fact that "Body" models are all barefeet since shoes are now a separate piece of clothing, as well a looser tie and skirt as there's a bigger emphasis on cloth physics in the new game. "Face" models have been largely simplified to appear flatter and smoother with rounder ears. As well an all-round polycount reduction in the new models.

Gal*Gun VR Leftovers#

This needs some investigation.
Discuss ideas and findings on the talk page.
Specifically: How was VR accessed back in the day?

As Gal*Gun 2 is an expanded game based on Gal*Gun VR, it shares the internal project name (VRGG) and featured a (now removed) VR mode that worked the same way it does in VR, but with some changes specific to this game. This VR mode was later removed on an update, because of a DLC exclusive to the Windows version that restores the VR mode. This DLC can currently be purchased on Steam.

Opening video#

This needs some investigation.
Discuss ideas and findings on the talk page.
Specifically: What version of the opening is triggered by Korean and Traditional Chinese? Both languages may trigger a specific language of the two below (Japanese and English), or the same version.

Unfortunately, there are no Korean nor Traditional Chinese versions of the opening, despite being supported languages added on a later update.
