EyeToy: Kinetic

This article has a talk page!

This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion.
Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?

To do:

  • There seems to be more text in the executable.
  • Two prototypes exist: a debug-enabled review build from a month before the PAL release, and an NTSC build created a week before PAL (around a month and a half before retail NTSC).
  • Possibly early names of the minigames in the files

EyeToy: Kinetic is a collection of exercising minigames, backed by Nike. Notably, it has multiple music tracks made by Switchshift that would end up being reused for the menus of both WipEout Pulse and WipEout HD.

Development Text#

An error message seems to have made its way into the executable.

TPO CA QU HRM MR EW%d *** Voice over error! Unset index for week %d (1-based) ending commentary Grade %d, last %d H

Leftover Script#

A .bat script called previewedits.bat was accidentally transformed into a music file and left over in DATA\UI\Sounds\MusicPreviews. No data in it seems to remain.
