Draw a Stickman: EPIC 3 is an adventure puzzle game about traversing levels using magic pencils to stop Corruption from taking over.

Unused Pencils#

YouTube video The game's files contain four unobtainable pencils. Currently their uses in-game are unknown, however they can be very easily modded in to reveal what they would've done.

  • Bubble Pencil - would allow you to draw a bubble, which can pick up the player/other misc objects for a short period of time. You can change the direction the bubble goes with the Wind Pencil, and this allows you to go through any walls/barriers if performed correctly. Interestingly, the Bubble Pencil's sprite appears in the hub world with the rest of the pencils but is entirely unobtainable.
  • Lodestone Pencil - allows you to draw a connected shape (squares, circles, etc.) to make an electric shape, it has physics and can fall over. The electric shape you draw enlarges if you draw a wire using the Wire Pencil on top of it, and the electric shape also has functionality to be picked up by the Bubble Pencil.
  • Egg Pencil - allows you to draw an egg which activates a particle emitter that spawns birds, after a few seconds it despawns.
  • Ice Pencil - has no known functionality, but is presumed to have frozen water if drawn on.

Unused Tools#

This needs some investigation.
Discuss ideas and findings on the talk page.

In the files of the game, there are three unused tools; The Axe, The Shield, and The Torch.

Axe's functionality is unknown; however, this tool can almost be modded into your toolset and is by far the closest to being in-game. Axe has different drawing presets, a sketchbook icon/page, and a togglable space in your inventory.

There's no known information about Shield and Torch yet.

Unused NPC speech bubbles#

The game files contain 18 speech bubbles for all characters in the game (excluding the player). Although some of them are now outdated, nine of them are still used in the game. The rest, however, remain unused. Fifteen of them (including used ones) are in the same format and include only NPC speech bubbles, while the remaining three contain two images for Stickman and one image for Zarp in his adventurer disguise.

Unused NPCs#

In addition, there are six more sprites of unused characters. There are no other references to these characters anywhere else, nor are their names mentioned.

The only character we know anything about is the Witch, as she appears in the game’s trailer. The Witch is the only character whose appearance actually differs from the version shown in the trailer (with the exception of characters whose items were removed from their hands).

Oddities#

Bubble Pencil#

Even though the Bubble Pencil is unobtainable, it still appears in the player hub alongside the obtainable pencils.

Early Character Designs#

If you talk to the villagers while Stickman is sick, dialogue boxes will appear in which each villager will comment on Stickman's illness (except for Fishman). However, the icons used to represent the villagers have an outdated design that doesn't match how they actually look in the game. In fact, they use the design from the game's trailer.

Internal Build#

This needs some investigation.
Discuss ideas and findings on the talk page.
Specifically: Check if that's the case for all versions of the game available.

For some reason, certain versions of the game are labeled as “internal builds” in the game files. This includes the PC versions of the game.
