To do:
Cover the "tao" cheat

Dragon Fist 3: Age of the Warrior is, as you may assume, the third game in the Dragon Fist series of Adobe Flash fighting games, and sees several changes and additions, including several fighting styles rather than just one, an improved weapon system, multiple difficulty levels, and an unlockable character creator.

Sadly, there's no cheesy bitcrushed voice lines from your opponent before each fight this time around.

Unused Text#

This needs some investigation.

Specifically: Figure out how to enable these, and perhaps list them and what characters they're tied to

Text IDs 1602 to 1641 (1611 to 1650 in v1.2) sport synopses for each character that were meant to display on the 'next opponent' screen, much like in Dragon Fist 2. Viewing frame 13 (nextFight) demonstrates that the text is meant to display below the fighter's sprite, but it curiously doesn't appear on the actual screen in-game.

Viewing frame 9 (Complete) which is the congratulations screen when you complete a difficulty, you find placeholder text, Text ID 1590 (1599 in v1.2) to be specific, for the congratulatory message that just reads Congrats text.

Another curiosity comes in the form of Text ID 1232 (1237 in v1.2) consists of the text box where you enter your character's name in the character creator. The curious part is that it uses Onochi Takahashi, a character from Dragon Fist 2 which didn't make it to this instalment.

Revisional Differences#

Version 1.2: Fixes some bugs and now when you complete 'Master', you get 4 more playable characters.

Version 1.1: Fixed bugs including the bug which stops you ending the fight if there is a draw

The playable characters in question are from the rare 1v2 fights you face in the single player mode. The original Master difficulty reward was extra body decorations for the character creator, which has been moved to the Disciple difficulty reward, joining the extra accessories.
