Oh wow. Sometimes, you have no idea how morbid the things in these pages can be. This page contains content that is not safe for life, whether it be you or anyone in proximity to you. Such as: Knife-in-gut action, in both red and grey flavors.

Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! is a sort of "definitive edition" of Doki Doki Literature Club!, featuring a new computer-like interface, side stories featuring the girls, and a lot of new lore.

Unused Graphics#

Promotional graphics for two fonts that are used nowhere in the game. The first font image is Brush Font Number One and was taken from this site, while the other is Flexi IBM VGA False and was taken from here.

Based on appearance, it's likely that Brush Front Number One was meant to be used in a poem, while Flexi IBM VGA False may have been meant for the computer interface when exiting out of DDLC, or the command line prompt that shows up when Monika deletes the other characters from existence.

A simple foggy texture by the name of child_2.

A placeholder for the Team Salvato logo.

Unused Audio#

s_kill_early_bgm

This sound effect appears in a secret in the original DDLC if you delete Monika's character file before Act 3 or delete Sayori's character file at all.

Select_glitch

This "baa" sound effect was in the original DDLC. Given how this is a sample from a WarioWare song, more specifically "Ashley's Song", it was probably removed for legal reasons.

Version Differences#

• For whatever reason, the PS4 and PS5 versions are smaller.
• To comply with Sony's content guidelines, the scene at the end of Act 2 where Yuri stabs herself to death was toned down for the PS4 and PS5 versions, with any blood becoming grayscale instead of color. In addition, the background of the scene is changed to a dark static. The event CGs of Yuri's corpse remain the same (including the red blood), however:
