Disney's Aladdin (SNES)

While almost every other system got a port of Virgin's Genesis game, Capcom's SNES Aladdin is a completely original game. It's a side-scroller like Virgin's take and shares some ideas with it, but it's slower-paced, focuses more on acrobatics and platforming than swordplay, and follows the movie's story much more closely. Sadly, most of the songs from the movie are missing too, aside from "Friend Like Me" and "A Whole New World."

Moving Platforms#

Sprite index 0x77 is a blue platform that travels right for 8 screens at a constant pace, while sprite index 0x78 is a red variant that moves for twice as long and gradually increases in speed. Given the aesthetics, they were probably meant for Stage 4.

Fire Hand#

Sprite index 0x71 is a large hand made out of fire that was probably intended for Stage 6. It can perform three possible actions; facing right, facing left, and moving back and forth in a small area.
