To do:

  • A hidden textstring for "Cheats" exists, what does it do? Check for unused graphics, code and models. Explore DLC for interesting leftovers. See if there are any Candy Crush Saga Leftovers.
  • Big update occurred, the game engine switched to Unity. It would be best to split into subpages.

Despicable Me: Minion Rush Is a simple endless running game based off of the Despicable Me/Minions franchise by Illumination Entertainment.

DO NOT CHANGE THE ORDER OF THE SHEETS OR DELETE ANY – THIS WOULD BRING SEVERE ISSUES. If you do, please call a dev before. To add sheets, add them at the end.

Looks like changing or even deleting the orders of the sheets could mess everything up. Found in text in older versions of the game. Every translated file has this in the beginning and later parts of the localization files, untranslated.

Internal Names#

Many files and executable code mention Despicable Me, Despicable Me 2, DM2, dme2 and DespicableMe2, the internal name is likely Despicable Me 2 to likely relate to being Gameloft's second Despicable Me game, the project for iOS on the internal SVN is despicable_iphone.

Unused Promo#

There was a promo for Despicable Me 3 that has since been removed.

Removed Animation#

An unused animation for the removed multiplayer mode that was in the game before the Jelly Lab update, likely a leftover.
