Dead Rising 4 brings back Frank West (now voiced by Ty Olsson Victor Nosslo) and also puts him and the series back in the town of Willamette!

The game went through development hell, starting as a The Last of Us ripoff that was meant to serve as a series reboot. That idea was rejected, leaving the team tasked to work on the game with only a year and a half of development time, which definitely shows with the litany of bugs and glitches at launch. It also didn't help that it lacked some of the series's core staples, such as the timer. To top it all off, the PC version of the game has protection against modding.

Dead Rising 4 was the last game made by Capcom Vancouver before they shut down in 2018, despite plans to develop a fifth entry in the series.

Placeholder/Scrapped Objective#

A rare glitch in MP may cause this to randomly appear upon opening the dossier. It appears to be a scrapped objective from Case 0, where Frank would have needed to drive a "secret surveillance vehicle" to the marked point using "the ramps". Vick Chu is using her Case 6 appearance but without her hat.

Unused Area#
