Daedalian Opus

The shop guy from Clash at Demonhead challenges you to fit blocks in oddly-shaped spaces! Doesn't that sound like fun?

To do:
Regional changes, involving some stages and their placement.

Level Select#

Enter the password ZEAL.

Unused Design Room#

This code is present only in the US version of the game. Use Game Genie codes 621-5FF-3B3+081-60F-2A2, then at the title screen, enter the PASSWORD option to see some kind of very simple drawing mode instead. The background is filled with brick wall tiles by default. Hold A, then use the D-Pad buttons to draw with black tiles, hold B and also use the D-Pad buttons to erase black tiles. There is no such code in the Japanese version at all.

Dr. P was significantly redrawn in Daedalian Opus, most notably trading his lab coat for a more detailed set of overalls. His left hand's position is also different, his eyebrows are thicker, and his hair and mousctache have darker shading. The sign's dropshadow was also fixed.

Gameplay#

The intermission maps shown between stages in Bouken! Puzzle Road are fully automated, with your protagonist automatically moving to the right and entering the next stage. For whatever reason, Daedalian Opus changed this so you have to manually move your character to proceed, even letting you re-enter the previous level if you wanted to.
