Unused Levels#
e17/旧实验栋#
Although CSNEO and Namco claim that CSNEO only has Bombs Defusal maps and that it does not appear as an option in the map's selection menu for normal gameplay. CSNEO did in fact have a map titled"旧实验栋 (Old Laboratory) which features CSF spawning on the upper level and NEO and their VIP spawning on the lower level. They will battle for control of train station on the map nearby section. The team that captures the train station first not only gains a sniping vantage point overlooking the whole VIP rescue zone and the high ground. They can also remotely detonate the landmines around below to blow up any players who step on them. on top of that, for some reason, the APC escape point behind the train station is flooded with strong acid. It will vaporize any fools who tries to reach the VIP rescue zone without stepping on the wooden walkway.
this map clearly favors the CSF, who play as assassins, to an excessive degree, both in terms of terrain and other aspects. Yes, it's quite unbalanced. Specifically, the VIP can only reach the VIP escape point via the wooden walkway, allowing the CSF easily keep the escape point in their line of sight. Furthermore, the CSF have a shorter walk to the train station than the NEO, which means that unless they intend to intercept the VIP, they can always secure the strategic advantage at the train station and VIP escape zone.
Even though Namco modified the game's source code so that NEO and CSF no longer have any of the original CS1.6 weapons resitrictions in as_ map,it still doesn't solve any of the problems for this map.
NEO(CT) Spawn#
The NEO Squad and the VIP they are tasked with protecting spawn at the bottom of map, directly across form their adversaries, the CSF,on the floor above.A deadly fire has cut them off from their spawn point.
It is reasonable to speculate that the story behind this map was triggered by a failed violent attack by the CSF on a scientist working for NEO.

Bottom Area#
These areas are quite open and wide, and the CSF can monitor them through the peepholes on their overpasses and position snipers there. Therefore, as a VIP, going out alone is tantamount to suicide.

Farside/Crates#
In theory, this route is meant for NEO to infiltrate the train station; however, in reality, although this area features large shipping crates and suspended transport tubes that serve as cover for NEO and VIP, the CSF can still easily monitor the area through the railing. Not to mention that there's an even smaller peephole behind another box on the side.

Backalleys#
This zone is packed with shipping crates, in addition, at its entrance, there is a ladder that allows access to the train station control room, as well as a window that enables CSF snipers to take out any NEO who charges out without first throwing flashbang or smoke grenade, or that could be used to take out the sniper himself/herself. At the far end for alley, there's also a narrow plank and a mini window that allow NEO to sneak into the train station and quietly take control of the entire area, or that the CSF can snipe NEOs passing by outside windows.

Backyard/VIP Escape Zone#
An APC, an emergency exit inexplicably filled with acid, and a platform leading directly to the train station...What else? 2 remote-controlled landmines that are powerful enough to blow you to smithereens.
If CSF secures the train station first, they only need to one teammate armed with a shotgun or M249 at the end of wooden walkway in the VIP escape zone to completely control the VIP escape zone.

Train Station#
The strategic hotspot on this map. Capturing this spot not only gives you or your teammates a clear bird's-eye view of the VIP rescue zone. You also remotely trigger the landmines in the backyard to ambush the VIP or blow up anyone who steps on them.
If a firefight breaks out in this area, the crates stacked like walls inside the station, as well as a locomotive, can serve as covers. In addition, players may use the station's control room and guardrails as cover to ambush his/her enemies.

CSF(T) Spawn Zone#
In the upper part of the map, there's also a broken-down locomotive on one side,A twisted ventilation duct allows CSF to catch a glimpse of NEO's spawn zone and throw grenades down to ambush NEO and the VIP,but NEO can't do the same.

Outside#
As the primary route for NEO to escort the VIP, the crates piled up here allowed NEO to lead the VIP past the enemies line undetected with just a few flashbangs or smoke grenades, the CSF's footbridge doesn't provide a full view of this area; however ,given the expansive terrain here, and the fact that the CSF has a small recessed room from which they can "high-arc" grenades outward, NEO players must still remain vigilant against hidden CSF players, there is a window in the station that overlooks this zone, and at the end of the road, there is a ramp leading directly to the station.

Easter Egg#
Hidden on the roof of a building obscured by the skybox,it looks like a row of NEOs lined up with their backs to the viewpoint, its purpose is unclear, this texture is named "{neo_jinjya"in the map editor.

neo_event1/NEOブロック崩し#
A fun type map: CSF and NEO each have a stack of bricks (or maybe cargo, or some kind of important item? Who knows?), and neither side is allowed to buy weapons. They can only fight using MP5s: either eliminate all members of the opposing faction or destroy all of the enemy’s bricks.
- The texures for this map are missingso it is impossible to determine its original design;it is a completely symmetrical map.
- It is unclear what would happen if a player's own brick were destroyed by his/her teammates:however, the bricks of CSF and NEO are so close together that any defensive or offensive strategy seems pointless.
- Both sides of the map feature a “trap pit” (NEO's is on the left, CSF's on the right), which causes any careless player—friend or foe—who isn't watching where they're going to fall in and die. It's unclear why it's there, since it's very easy to avoid.

neo_event2/初心者マップ戦場#
A deathmatch map featuring an arched bridge with tunnels you can crawl through; its original theme was likely a sci-fi-inspired laboratory setting: the NEO and CSF spawn zones are located on either side of the bridge, and there are two blocks on the bridge that can be used as cover.
Its design may have been inspired by the classic CS 1.6 map “awp_india” but it is more compact and lacks an AWPs.
