Unused Weapons & Items#
Unused Melee / Unarmed Attack#
Found inside ColdWinter\LEVELS\PS2\WEAPONS\CLOSE\ is a 3D model file named WC_FIST.DFF.
Opening the model reveals a material reference named CW_HUD HANDS. This suggests that melee attacks using bare fists were planned at an earlier stage of development before being removed or restricted in the final release.

Early HUD / UI Textures#
Early HUD elements visible in pre-release screenshots and trailers can still be found within the game files.

Pre-release Screenshots Textures#
Early screenshots found in LASL.DFF and N_FE.DFF
The original HUD texture map can be found embedded inside various .DFF level files located in:

ColdWinter/LEVELS/PS2/
Lapelknives Icon Texture#
An unused texture named Lapelknives can be found within the game files. It depicts small lapel knives, further indicating cut close-quarters weaponry or crafting options that didn't make it into the final game.
Pistol Syringe Icon Texture#
An unused weapon/item texture named Pistol Syringe is present inside LASL.DFF and N_FE.DFF.
While a syringe is used in a story cutscene where Kim treats Andrew after escaping prison, this item does not appear as a usable weapon or equipment in normal gameplay, suggesting it may have been an early inventory icon, cut usable item, or craftable gadget.
