Captain America and The Avengers (Arcade)

Why should it goes well?

Alternate / Early Character Portraits#

This needs some investigation.
Discuss ideas and findings on the talk page.
Specifically: Some of the "unused" portraits are used on the high score screen, as seen in this video at 3:24 (featuring Captain America's 4th and Vision's 3rd). Figure out exactly which ones are used.

There are several unused portraits for all main characters stored in the game's graphic data.

All four characters have a version of their hit portraits with a hit effect overlaid on top;
Captain America also has an alternate hit portrait, plus three alternate versions of him smiling towards the screen;
Iron Man has a version of his "picked up an item" portrait with a hit effect overlaid behind him and two completely different portraits for his near death and death states;
Vision also has an alternate hit portrait, and a second version of his "picked up an item" portrait with a star effect overlaid behind him;
Hawkeye also has an alternate hit portrait, and two alternate versions of his "picked up item" portrait, one with a star effect behind him, and one where he doesn't do a thumbs up.

Drawn by the finest artists in third grade.
A set of placeholder character portraits is also stored nearby.
