Whether Can Can Bunny Superior can be considered the superior entry in the Can Can Bunny series is debatable. Whether it can be considered superior to the game it precedes...is also debatable.

Unused Text#

Hidden at the end of the game's staff roll (S3ーEND.MES) are a pair of credits for the X68000 port's programmers:

Variations on these two aliases are credited in many of Fairytale and Cocktail Soft's other X68000 ports for the same role. They are likely Yasuhiro Suzuki and Makoto Kurumada respectively, who are credited under their real names in the TANK-OS executable that most of these games run under.

Music File Headers#

Each of the .M files contains a header giving some details on the music it contains. The original soundtrack, arranged for the X68000 version by Ray-Load (AKA Ryu Takami), follow the same general template:

Of note is that he includes the completion date of each song in the header, providing us with a timeline of his progress on this particular job.

The three ending songs, newly composed for the X68000 by Mikan Yuzuno (AKA Masami Yitsuse) and Kiyotaka Sato along with Takami, break from the format a little to include song names and other interesting details, such as END_2.M apparently being a present for Takami and END_3.M seemingly being Takami's first original song!
