Calvin Tucker's Farm Animal Racing (Windows)

Calvin Tucker's Farm Animal Racing is the second and final game in the Calvin Tucker series. Instead of being a minigame collection, it's a racing game where you use the power of vegetables, porcupines, feces, and farts to beat your opponents (yes, seriously).

This page covers the PC port released in 2018, which is basically exactly the same as the Wii version.

To do:

  • Look through the Wii and DS versions for anything. If there's nothing of note, oust their related bits from the Bob and move the page to denote which version(s) are actually covered.
    • The Wii version also has some gameplay similarities to Flatout Wii, which indicate that this game uses the same engine.
  • Check the .dcm models. Some might be leftovers from other games.
  • Check the .dcMenu menu files. A lot of them are labled as "template".
  • Check the .dct image files.
  • The Music folder contains three additional folders called Techno, Rock, and User. Check if the folders are used by the game or not.
  • A LOT of debug features need to be documented.

Unused Track#

Inside the Maps folder, four files for a test level can be found. Trying to load it crashes the game.

A debug console can be opened by pressing 0 on the keyboard. A list of commands can be found below.

Inside the Vehicles folder is a text document in Dutch, written by developer Ronnie Nelis, reviewing and rating the powerups and character-specific abilities.

A translated version has been made by a TCRF member, allowing English users to read this document in their own language. (rotting/stupid) could be either one as the sentence doesn't clarify which one the writer meant, but rotting seems the most likely answer. The original word that was in the spot of (rotting/stupid) was rot. Which based on the sentence after that one means rotting, but if that is the case, the original author made a grammatical error. If we follow grammatical rules, which weren't followed as the author used both English and Dutch words interchangeably in his sentences, this word would mean stupid.

Unused Code#

Inside the Misc folder is a .bat file called ZZZ_CSV2TXT. As the name suggests, it was most likely used to convert .csv files to .txt files.

File Oddities#

Inside the Fx folder is another folder called Waarschijnlijk ongebruikt (nog niet helemaal zeker), which translates to "Probably unused (not completely sure yet)."
