CART Fury (PlayStation 2)

The PlayStation 2 port of CART Fury was coincidentally released a month after the release of the much-maligned CART film remembered for its crashes (similar to what this game offers), Driven. At least it sticks to that film's theme better compared to the film's actual video game.

Unused Video#

Present only in the European version is KERMIT~1.M2V, a video of Kermit the Frog taken from Muppets Inside.

Another unused video also is present, where California Raceway is referred with the branding of the track it is based on, Laguna Seca Raceway. This may suggest that the track was to be officially licensed for either the arcade release or the console port.

Unused Graphics#

What appears to be a placeholder for the driver's background for hidden cars. It was replaced with another one, which is of the 1999 CART driver, Cristiano Da Matta.
