Unused Textures#
aq.png#
This texture comprises four items: one orange, one cyan, one pink, and one blue. Only the orange item was utilized in the game, though all of them are mapped in the resource file.
l.png#
The spritesheet of all the elements found in chapters 9-11 contains an unused pole on the left. The pole isn't mapped in the resource file.
ab.png#
A texture that is mapped in the resource file of Sky Bean Land (chapters 1-3) that is never actually used anywhere.
Cheats#
To activate cheats, add the line "Cheats: On" to the MANIFEST.MF file. This grants access to cheat codes in the game. Inputting "000" during gameplay completes the level with all 30 items. In chapter selection, it unlocks every level.
Unused Code#
The file be contains UI data, focusing on colors. It spans 258 bytes, split into 3 sections of 86 bytes each. The displayed menu determines which section determines the colors. Surprisingly, the third section, with a mere 6-byte difference from the second, remains unused. Notably, the third section showcases a green outline.
Unused Enemies#
There used to exist two unused enemies that are unnamed. They can be loaded in by modding, though they don't have any texture, there isn't any references to their textures in the code or the resource files.
The names below are made up.
Enemy 1#
They behave similarly to the mole, but moves at a slower pace and has a shorter range. Bumpy, Bounce's rock form, can easily overcome them.
Enemy 2#
They relentlessly pursues the player and instantly eliminates them upon contact.
