Best Play Pro Yakyuu is not your typical baseball game for the Famicom, rather its a management simulator. The game would later be reissued a few months later as Best Play Pro Yakyuu Shin Data which updates the game with new data hence the name.

Debug Menu#

Choose the first option at the main game menu ("リーグデータ" or "league data") then select the 2nd team name, press A, then edit it to "そのべ" and return to the main menu by pressing B twice. Press Select, Right, Left and a debug menu will appear. You can listen to the game's music, view the ending and other game sequences.
