Beat Player 2000

Beat Player 2000 is a very obscure beatmania clone released in South Korea. Curiously, its songlist is composed entirely of old Be-Music Source tracks from 1998 to 1999.

NOTE: All charts and images can be extracted from flash.u9 and flash.u10 upon byte-swapping and combining these files.

Sub-Page#

Unused Songs#

Beat Player 2000 uses DGM files to store its chart data. Curiously, some go unused, either by being completely unreferenced by the program, or by being overriden by other charts. This section lists files not associated with any song playable by normal means. Currently, it is not possible to verify if audio data exists.

Hyper Hige Dance#

DGM Files: HHIGE.DGM, HHIGE_E.DGM
Two files associated with the song "Hige" no theme(HYPER HIGE DANCE), originally released as a standalone BMS file on September 10th, 1999. Curiously, the unused title parameter for both files is damaged, causing some letters to appear incorrectly.

Hiphop Street Mix#

DGM Files: HIP1_E.DGM, HIP1_N.DGM
Curiously, these two files are not BMS originals, but rather conversions of the song u gotta groove(Triple Mazin Dub), which originates from beatmania 2ndMIX.

LA HORA DE BAILAR#

DGM File: LAHORA.DGM
A file associated with the song LA HORA DE BAILAR by DJ-ZOONI!. This may have been originally released as a BMS file like all of the game's playable songs, but it is currently lost. Also, unlike the previous two songs, this one doesn't have any graphical data.

Song Kang-ho "Mudaepo, hungry jeongsin!"#

DGM File: NO3.DGM
While this file seems to be used for the game's interface music, it contains metadata which associate it with the song Song Kang-ho "Mudaepo, hungry jeongsin!" by DJ.EUNTAESU. There is no proper chart data; all events are for background keysounds. There is also no associated graphics.

I wanna dance#

DGM Files: N/A
While there's no DGM files associated with this song, there are graphics present within B-2.GIF and C-2.GIF. This title could possibly refer to I wanna dance "W-beat style" by juno & une.

BMS Files#

While the game does not parse them, there are two .BMS files left intact, labeled CLOCK_E3.BMS and RAYEAR~1.BMS. The former is associated with the song Every Body, while the latter is associated with an unplayable song titled Yuzurenai negai, a cover of the opening of the Magic Knight Rayaerth anime series by YK. Both can be downloaded below:

Unused Graphics#

FONT00.GIF and FONT01.GIF are gameplay graphics taken directly from BM98, the oldest beatmania simulator. Given the receptors and notes don't match most screenshots of the simulator, these could have been from an earlier version.
