Aero Fighters (SNES)

The SNES port of Aero Fighters is one of the rarest standard North American releases, produced in very limited quanitities.

Hidden Character#

On the character select screen, holding R and pressing Left, Down, Right, X, Y, A, B,Left, Down, Right, Down, X, Y, A, B lets you play as the hidden character Rabio, the main character of Video System's earlier shoot-em-up Rabbit Punch.

Bad Ending#

The Japanese version has two bad endings, which are triggered if you let one of the last bosses escape. These were removed for the North American version. However, the translation for these endings can be found inside the ROM of the North American version.

Miscellaneous#

In the Japanese version there's a second loop when you beat the game once, while in the North American version you go back to the title screen instead. Each loop had a different ending, which were combined into one for the North American release.
