A prototype of Primal Rage was released by drx on December 26, 2019 as part of Hidden Palace's 2019 holiday release event.

Differences#

• The prototype skips the Time Warner trademark information and logo splash screens, as well as the high score screen.
• The swiping sound on the title screen doesn't play.
• On the title screen, the music stops upon showing the Urth sequence. In the final, the music stops at the point before a demo.
• The Game Credits option is missing from the main menu.
