A very early build of Platinum, dating the final game by over a year and seven months.
General Differences#
- The storyline still plays out exactly like it does in Diamond and Pearl.
- The new key items from Platinum (Vs. Recorder, Gracidea and Secret Key) and the Griseous Orb have not yet been implemented.
- Strangely, all Pokémon appear to use incorrect front/back sprite sprite animations, seemingly intended for the Pokémon introduced in Generation 4, albeit in an order that doesn't match their final order, nor the glitched data from the January 2008 builds of HeartGold/SoulSilver. In addition, all Pokémon past Larvitar resort to the default "stretch" animation.
- For example, Suicune uses Manaphy's animations, Entei uses Cresselia's, and Raikou uses Giratina's.
- Nearly (if not) all Pokémon, use their Diamond/Pearl sprites, lacking their second frames. At least some Pokémon, like Staryu or Espeon, retain their second frame.
- Some Pokémon, like Seaking or Chikorita, appear corrupted for a few frames during their animation.
- The new forms of Shaymin, Giratina and Rotom are not yet present.
