'This page or section details content from theMinecraft Bedrock Internal Builds leak.'''

Minecraft.Windows_1.18.3004.0_x64.appx is a leaked development build of The Wild Update.1 This developer version includes some rather interesting content, like the scrapped firefly mob2 and an older version of the Bundle item.3 Players might know this build from a now deleted Element X video4 where he showcased these internal features before they were released, during a time period where Mojang already decided to move the Bundle and Firefly over to other future updates. Since then all of these internal features have been officially released.5

experimental_wild_update_internal#

experimental_wild_update_internal is the internal version of The Wild Update experiment. In-game this experiment is known as Wild Update Internal (NO_LOC). Most of, if not all of the assets for this experiment are found in the app package under data/resource_packs/experimental_wild_update_internal.

This experiment also contains all of the Mud blocks and textures for the mangrove leaves and propagule. Weirdly enough, the mangrove log is missing and the propagule doesn't grow into a tree in this experiment.

Recording showing a player trying to grow the Mangrove Propagule into a Mangrove tree in 1.18.30's development build.

Firefly#

The firefly is a scrapped mob that was announced for the 1.19 update6, also known as The Wild Update.

Spawn Egg#

The firefly spawn egg, in-game called Spawn Firefly is a spawn egg that when used spawns in a single firefly mob.

Entity Textures#

The entity looks exactly like the one shown in Minecraft Live and it behaves in the exact same way, other than some removed/missing functionality. In this version the on texture isn't used for the mob, causing the firefly to just be two dark floating pixels. Frogs also can't eat them in this version. The firefly mob can be killed in one hit with any weapon and tool, including fists.

Firefly.entity.json#

Found under entity. Note that the animations are set to firefly.nothing and that both the on and off textures are assigned to the entity, whilst only one ends up being rendered.

firefly.json#

Found under entities in the behavior pack for this experiment. Note that the firefly mob is coded to ignore water. Spawning the entity in water causes the firefly to stay still and drown after a couple of seconds (the total_supply of breath is set to 15). The firefly dies instantly, due to the mobs health being set to 1.

Bundle#

The Bundle is an item that allows the player to combine items into one slot to a maximum capacity of one item stack. This item was originally planned for the Caves and Cliffs update, but kept on getting delayed, until it was announced that it would be a part of The Wild Update.9 This ended up not happening and the item got delayed until the Bundles of Bravery game-drop.10

Item#

The bundle item in this version behaves differently from release. The main differences are that these bundles cannot be dyed, that scrolling does nothing and putting in and out items is different. To put in items, the player needs to drop the bundle on the item they want to put into it. To take items back out the player has to right-click on the bundle . This will take out the last item put in the bundle. Right-clicking with the bundle hovering over an item slot also works for both functions. Due to the requirement of left- and right-clicking or hovering, the bundle item didn't work well on Mobile, which is why it got delayed as the developers couldn't figure out a solution to the input problem.
