Debug Features#
Debugging features are enabled when pressing the CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+F4 key combination.
The debugging features present with this build likely match with Proto:Midtown_Madness/Sneak_Preview_Beta, though more research is needed.
One unique feature has been found in this build, pressing the U key in Cops n Robbers mode will change you over to the next vehicle. This may have been intended as a testing feature for swapping the delivery point of the gold, but internally it doesn't change your team affiliation. Perhaps this feature was already rendered obsolete and is more complete in an older build.
Version Differences#
A render quality setting for skidmarks is not present in this build, they are always enabled
Police don't yet care if the player is on a highway or not, and always assume the speed limit is 40MPH
Thunder plays at any time of day in this build, while in future builds it only plays at night
This build has an Exit button, which brings you to an Exit (y/n) menu
This build of the game features posts instead of runway lights at Meigs Field. It does not contain the code yet for runway lights.
The default keybind for switching transmission type is Ctrl, which in future builds is T
Interface#
- The interface is partway through a transition to it's final version
- A couple menus still retain their old buttons

Early Menu Icons#
There are several early menu icons leftover. Implying there was once an even earlier UI design before the leftover one present in this build. These menu icons also reveal an earlier design for the Cadillac Eldorado, as well as the way dashboards were designed.
Tracks#
- There are six tracks stored in the build's files:
- C36 is the 36th revision of the city with it's entire model leftover.
- C38 is the 38th revision of the city, with it's entire model leftover.
- C39 is the 39th revision of the city, and is the playable city the game loads into.
- RACETRACK2 is a test track, with playable files leftover. This can be entered via starting the game with arguments -l RACETRACK2 -noai as it uses an older AI format.
- RACETRACK7 is a test track, with playable files leftover. This can be entered via starting the game with arguments -l RACETRACK7 -noai as it uses an older AI format.
- RACETRACK8 is a test track, with only it's culling/data files leftover.
