This is a sub-page of Proto:Mario Superstar Baseball.
A few graphics that are present in the final versions exist in the files for the demos, which go unused but reveal some changes between the demo and final versions.

The locked stadium background for Bowser Castle uses a different graphic in the demos depicting Mario Stadium with the captain characters (excluding Birdo and Bowser Jr.) using their Challenge Mode team photo sprites. The text above them translates to "Stadium under construction!", likely as Bowser Castle hadn't been created yet.
Challenge Mode Clear Screen Captain Artwork#

The graphics used for the Challenge Mode clear screen for each captain features each of them in different poses compared to the final version. The main difference is that the demo's graphics use the character's in-game models while the final uses higher quality models seen in various character renders from the game.
Interestingly, the early artwork of Donkey Kong flexing ended up being used in Mario Super Sluggers when selecting him as a captain.
Early Difficulty Level Icons#

Early graphics for the Minigame and Challenge Mode level options. The early icons use artwork similar to the cups seen in Mario Kart: Double Dash!!. The only exception is the Flower level icon, which uses its design from Super Smash Bros. Melee.
Oddly enough, the final Japanese version still uses the early icons for the Wall Ball minigame instructions.
