Version 0 of Killing Floor released 2 days before its official release date, on May 12th, 2009. There is almost no difference with the exception of 1 unreleased map.

KF-Harbor#

Harbor takes place, as the name implies, a docking harbor. The map is composed of 3 areas, the docks itself, a warehouse and a cargo boat. It's possible this map was created very late in the game's development cycle as the map lacks finer details. For example the boat's lower section is very plain with only some boxes scattered around. One of the shipping containers even used a brick wall texture. A unique gimmick of the map was that zeds spawned in the containers but due to how the game fixes all doors after the wave ends, players can get locked inside but unweld their way out. Due to how little time the developers had left, the map was cut and unfortunately abandoned. It wouldn't be until a year later, the map was released as a downloadable custom map known as KF-Harbor1.1 by a user called myles (Myles Lambert). Myles was an original member of the team behind KFMod, and helped with porting it to the Red Orchestra Unreal Engine 2 version for the retail game.

Harbor does not have any preview images when selected but does have a description (which is also reused in Myles' version).

Reports are coming in from the Port Authority about a bizarre attack on the Harbour. A number of cargo containers were offloaded from a cargo vessel belonging to a London Biotech researcher. According to one of the surviving dock workers, they had barely offloaded half the containers, before they starting bursting open, one after the other. There were things inside .. They looked like out of a slasher flick. Everyone at the harbour is dead, and the police have been advised to stay out. It's our job to wipe these things out.
