Found at Glover1and2BackupData\SourceBackupDisksFeb18\Glover Fullbackup Jan00\Rom.zip\glover2.n64 and dated May 28, 1999 4:24 PM, this build seems wayyyy further along than the other rom in the same directory.

Successfully run with Parallel Launcher

General Differences#

  • When the game opens, there is an opening cutscene of a fish swimming in water.
    • Due to the fact that the camera follows this fish until a button on the controller is pressed, this is more than likely the unfinished title screen.
    • After pressing a button, the fish is shown being caught by the Wizard, who is on vacation according to the game. After which the game transitions the scene to a postcard, before the camera pans to the save select screen.
  • The scorpion fountain is entirely gone.
  • Pressing left on the pause menu crashes the game.

Opening Skip Bug#

If the player skips the the scene of the wizard casting his fishing rod, the game breaks almost entirely.

The scene of the Wizard casting his fishing rod, if the player skips now the game will break.

The camera has switched back to the perspective of the fish, the player can now skip with no issues.

Objects#

  • Glovel just stands there.
  • The cooking pot does not face you.
  • The wizards book is absent.
  • Enemies do not have AI, in fact they don't do anything except stand there.
  • The lawnmower is broken like the enemies, and it's audio loops early and is no longer a sound in 3D space.
  • Interestingly, The Hub Chicken and his nests are still fully functional.

Cutscenes#

  • All the Glovel cutscenes are broken, you can walk out the door without triggering the dialogue.
  • Interestingly, The Hub Chicken cutscene still occurs when you go to get the tomato, he can also be talked to at any of his nests. The only exception is when you go to get an egg from him by the shed.
