April 27th Beta

The earliest Fall Guys beta possible to download from Fall Guys: Technical Beta. Contains 3 music tracks, barely any UI sounds, level blockouts and very weird Fall Guy voices.

Unused Levels#

There and back again#

A mysterious unused level containing a small level layout and some test pieces. Most information about this level is unknown.

One of the test pieces. The pink blobs are bouncy, whilst the wall has a swinging pendulum. One of the test pieces in There And Back Again. Conveyors have ramps and there is a swinging pendulum on the top floating platform.

There are two test pieces (?) located in the distance. One contains pink bouncy blobs and a conveyor with a swinging pendulum, while the other contains ramps with conveyors and a floating platform with a swinging pendulum.

Early Levels#

Block Party#

An early version of Block Party. Contains neon floor and walls, has fog covering the upcoming blocks and is set at night.

Fall Mountain#

An extremely early version of Fall Mountain. The only level with the "Mountains" theme. Seen in multiple prerelease and prototype footage, as well as trailers. Also contains an early prototype of variations; the game would load multiple scenes containing level obstacles at the same time. However, this was deemed very inefficient and was scrapped early in development.

There are actually 2 versions of Fall Mountain in the same build. This one contains the normal beta background along with obstacles already built in. It was seen in later trailers. You can never have enough Fall Mountain!

See-saw#

Not much is changed about See Saw. However, it contains the beta survival background and confetti cannons at the end of the level. This version of See Saw is still used as the round splash screen as of the current build of Fall Guys.

Hit Parade#

Early blockout of Hit Parade. Features minor differences, most notable one being the addition of one extra turnstile on all rows of the 2nd section.

Dizzy Heights#

Early blockout of Dizzy Heights. The cannon part has been replaced with see-saws and pendulums, whilst the intro has been changed slightly.

Team Tail Tag#

Early blockout of Team Tail Tag. There are bridges that connect the top part to the middle, which don't appear in the final game.

Jump Club#

Prototype of Jump Club.

Skyboxes#

Night#

Night-time skybox with animated ripples. Used in the build's version of Block Party and Egg Scramble.

Sounds#

These files contain 1221 gameplay sounds, including early variations of the Fall Guy voice (voice1, voice2 and voice3).

This file contains 19 sounds used in UI. They are played in the Customizer submenu, when you move the selector using the arrow keys.

Welcome UI#

Shows when entering the main menu successfully. Transcript: "Welcome to the Beta! The Fall guys Beta will run for several weeks and will consist of a series of playtests that help us at Mediatonic gain vital feedback on the game we've built so far. Please bear in mind that fall guys is still in development so expect some hiccups and downtime along the way! Don't forget to join the Official FALL GUYS discord to get involved - we can't wait to hear what you have to say. Fall guys launches later in 2020! Love Mediatonic."

Game Banners#

When a player qualifies, a player gets eliminated or when the round ends, a still image of the Qualified!, Eliminated!, and Round Over! banner would appear respectively. There is no animation, just a short fade-in and fade-out.

Level Splashes#

These are short images that would appear whilst the round is loading. Most of these have a very different design ingame, so they're probably taken from development or earlier builds.

CMS#

The CMS is a JSON file which tells the client what shows to show, what items to put in the shop, which fame pass to activate and more. It is usually downloaded by the client from a server. However, every Fall Guys client also has a backup CMS in its files which is used if something goes wrong.
