Early Voice Clips

This is a sub-page of Proto:Crash Nitro Kart (PlayStation 2, GameCube, Xbox)/US Demo Disc.

The demo version features far fewer voice clips when compared to the final game. Many of them are either missing, removed from the final game, or stripped down. Additionally, the boss characters don't have any voice clips at this point.

Voice Differences#

Some character voices are overall different.

• Crash features a deeper voice. All of his voice effects were sped up for the final game, although the original ones were still kept for the handheld versions.
• N. Gin features the robotic voice filter applied in some clips, which was removed in the final game.
• N. Trance's voice volume is too high compared to the rest of the cast.
• N. Oxide features an echo filter on his voice in some clips, which was removed in the final game.
• Most of the falling down clips still kept the raw and uncut audio recordings, resulting in them being much longer and continuing to play even after the character had already been respawned.

Removed Hit Clips#

These voice clips play when a character is hit and flipped over by missiles, bombs, or explosions. They may have been replaced by the wall crash voice clips in the final game, as these weren't yet present in the demo.
